  Sorry, I'm making an iced coffee (yes you know it's hot here too!) and I got distracted. I think the tops are both flattering, the colors and the cuts. Love the BF shorts on you. The sandals (and your legs) are exquisite! 

  Me, I'm rotating between PJs, yoga/lounge wear (that you saw me in the other day) and swim suit/cover up. Wash, rinse, repeat.

  Coco I just have to say fab fab legs. After seing anna's orange jacket yesterday and your top I am lusting for some orange now:)
  That said fabulous both of them but I have a slight preferences for the neck and cut in orange on you

  In the 90's here but arctic a/c at work.  I like the cut of the purple top but can't tell by the pic if it's a good color for you.   I love the color of the peach top on you and think it looks great paired with the structure of the jacket.  I'm as not crazy about it by itself though, looks a little shapeless to me by itself.  I agree with clearlyclaire that your legs are definitely keepers.  :)  Where can I find those?

  I like both your tops very much.
  My boyfriends have been packed away for cooler times. Salads are dinner because it's too hot to cook.

  Love both these looks!  I like the necklaces with the casual tops, makes everything more polished.  The peach is ultra-flattering to your coloring.

  I am running around in shorts and casual dresses these days.

  I think you are looking fabulous Denise.

  With regards to the tops you are wearing (with panache I may add) I love how the wide neckline and not too low scoop adds the structure and shows off your shoulder line. I personally find top one more flattering because of the curve at the hem, I guess you could gain this effect with top two by doing a semi tuck but I understand this may not be practical in the heat,

  In terms of colour I think they are both flattering.

  No weeds to pull here! I love both of these, Denise. The jewelry really adds a lot of personality even though you obvs can't wear a lot of layers.

  Love the purple -- both the color and the shape.  I think you've styled the second top well, but I'm less sure about the color.  It could be the golden toned wall you're up against skewing your skin tone.  Or, and I hesitate to add this, it could be that I, too, can wear purple but look horrible in any orange/apricot type shade.  Am I the only one who has to adjust for that whole "good colors are colors that look good on me" bias? 

  You have great legs, Denise.  And these shorts showcase that without any age appropriate issues.  Brava!

  Yes, the tops are super flattering. I'm on an ankle strap craze too. Love the shorts as well.

  I wouldn't purge either of those tops. They are perfect for the heat and both are lovely colours on you.

  Denise, you look stunning in both tops! How can you wear both peach and purple? And yet you do, you do! 

  I agree with everything RoseandJoan says; I prefer the cut of the purple top overall. But both look great. 

  Adore the shorts, and yes, I am wearing shorts, too. No pants in this heat. I can't even bear an ankle strap sandal at this point. And my feet are so swollen I can barely get any of my sandals on, anyway! 

  Our temps are like yours with high, high humidity. And no air con.

  I love both colours on you, prefer the cut of the first top but #2 is slouchy fab too. I agree with the others your shorts, legs & sandals are fantastic :)

  I love how your Lab bookends your sandals :-)

  To my eye the purple is a little too strong to be optimally flattering.  I think the peach is a huge winner. I love it alone and also with that lovely faded denim jacket--the softness of both colors really makes them work well together.

  I'll leave the cuts to other commenters--I don't really understand tops since my idea of a top is an Old Navy tee!

  I'm wearing cut off jeans as I type and we aren't quite hitting 90. I actually like both tops very much and I think you ought to keep. BTW you have fab legs!

  Great legs for these great casuals, but ankle straps make all the show:-))
