WIW -- Pointelle Covered Knitwear

When I read Angie's post about this trend http://youlookfab.com/2012/04/.....-knitwear/ I knew I had to partake! I get to check off the comfort, the on trend, and the age appropriate boxes with one item!

Worn a few days ago to select and pick up wholesale produce for the restaurant. I got a great price on tomatoes!

Outfit details: Willow & Clay open weave top (Dillard's while I was in Reno), 80%20 animal booties (Ideeli), True Religion jeans (from a boutique Mo took me to in Tahoe).

Lovin' the outfit, jeans are super cute!

This jeans are fantastic. You look seriously cool Denise. The booties look to be quite subtle in their print? I like this combination a lot. I don't think I have ever seen you in something that doesn't work, you have such a great sense of your own style and what works for you.

The sweater and those shoes, plus the bashed-about jeans=to die for! Denise, you look superbly stylish and entirely effortlessly casual, yet again!

  • Astrid replied 6 years ago

I love it! You look so stylish, the sweater is perfect with your shoes and those awesome jeans.

You have a real knack for taking the information in blogs and turning it into an outfit. I really like the way the sweater drapes and works with the skinny pant. I think it would work really well with some of your brighter denim bottoms too.

Really nice. Just curious but did you deliberately bookend the shoes and top?

I agree with everyone here -- you look very laid-back cool.

Seriously LOVE that sweater! And it works really well with those particular jeans. Great look Denise!

The open-weave sweater is just beautiful! LOVE IT!

    You look wonderful!

That sweater looks cool in both the literal and the figurative sense! I love it with the distressed jeans (nice job Mo!) and it would also look good with the khakis you are searching for (for a tonal vibe). Nice!

What an awesome outfit Denise! Such a cool sweater and love the shoes.

  • Diana replied 6 years ago

LOVE this, Denise. I think this outfit has that California rocker-cool vibe that I am in love with but don't know how to pull off (a la the "shadow style" idea that popped up here a little while ago).

  • MsMary replied 6 years ago

ZOMG I think I need to breathe into a paper bag because your fabness is making me feel faint!! You are just the epitome of coolness, Denise!

  • kellygirl replied 6 years ago

This is beyond fab! I love the sweater with the distressed jeans. I wish I could pull off this kind of look as well as you--you look so hip and stylish!

Diana hit the nail on the head with her description! So this is the open weave sweater - it's awesome! Great subtly RATE look.

  • AJ replied 6 years ago

This looks great! At first glance, I thought you were wearing white sneakers, but now that I read they were animal booties, I like the outfit even more!! Luv your style!

  • Suz replied 6 years ago

Ah, the booties, the booties - you have the RIGHT booties for everything. They look wonderful with this sweater.

Super fabulously cool Denise strikes again!

  • Jjsloane replied 6 years ago

You have a great look I wish I could emulate. Luckily I can admire from afar. This is so great.

Cute! That's some really modern pointelle.

  • Aida replied 6 years ago

Ooooh such a great distressed look Denise! You look so cool. I just want to steal this whole outfit, but I certainly wouldn't look as cool as you do! ^^
