Believe it or not, the tee and cardi are actually recent -- I got them 3 weeks ago, so this color of orange must be intended for Spring. I was attracted to this color because I recently purchased this jacket from Zara. http://www.zara.com/webapp/wcs.....JAPANESE+P Whose colors then began a chain reaction, as suddenly I needed another 3 items (this cardi and two tops) to work these items into my wardrobe. :)
The jeans are the recent True Religions that you can see look a bit lighter on a bright day.
Cardi -- Free People (eek, I have three in this same style)

Nothing special here but a true COTG outfit (CocoLion On The Go).

I bought a tank top in orange too, wore mine with white linen pants - it's still warm here.

Thanks Raisin, pil and Caro! Good to know this color works. It makes me feel happy. Hopefully by September I will still want to wear these pieces, as the time when cardis and jackets can be worn is fast ending.

Caro, I live in California and we have amazing light, year round, as long as you can tolerate 90+ degree heat in the summer. Since I also live in the countryside the air is also clean!
So I made an appointment to talk about coloring my hair (and get a cut). But whenever I look at a picture of my hair in bright light, I think, why fix it? -

It's fab. At first glance I saw red and wanted to know immediately where you'd gotten it. But I see the orange tone more in the second pic. Your hair is perfect for you as is, IMO. Lovely.

Love it! We have a lot of orange and yellow right now, too. I guess citrus is in for spring. Orange with black is one of my favorite combos, and the tonal cardi looks fab!

Very cool Denise! I'm not a fan of the color orange in big blocks, but this looks really great - and so flattering on you! (Maybe I'm not a fan of orange, because it looks awful on me!) Are the TRs gray? I love them!

LOL Angie. I am hooked on the Rachel Zoe project at the moment, and she has all of these great Rachel-isms like "MAJ" and "Babe" (her husband) and "Sky-Sky" (her son). I like Rachel because she is not mean and we get to learn about the design process this year. And I like her relationship/partnership with husband Roger. Does anyone else tune in?
