So, my usual dog walking outfit is a little frumpy, starting with Shape-Ups at the bottom. For a long time I have been wanting a better walking look, here it is, starting with my new Simple Converse-type sneakers.
I find these shoes put me in a tomboy dressing mode.
Picture #5 is the other half of my fashion audience, the heifers are quite interested in my daily outfits.

Ali, I love looking at pictures with everyone's animals, and if I remember correctly you have some gorgeous canids.
Kirti, thanks for complimenting my hair, it's actually difficult to manage but I have been only using shampoo once weekly and the rest of the days I use Dove soap plus conditioner. It is way more manageable, not so fly-away now that I have changed my routine. It was Queen Mum who mentioned this routine somewhere on YLF a while ago.

I love #6.....clearly, the juxtaposition of the white tips of your shoes with the black body of the shoes echoes the juxtaposition of the black tips of your doggie's paws with the brown body of his paws.....and, obviously, the silver eyelets of your kicks were chosen to echo his shiney claws.....I bow in awe at your attention to detail, Denise..... : -)

Denise, you are STUNNING in your dog-walking outfits (and the animals are gorgeous, too.) I love your shoes. I own a pair of leather Eccos, not as cool as these but I really, really love them. They are supposed to be "walking" shoes but I wear them in the gym and outside for all kinds of stuff.

Denise, thank you for sharing not just your closet but your outdoors with us! So inspiring and soothing to look at those wagging tails and shimmering treetops and calm cows on this too-much-to-do Saturday morning.
LOVE the so-sharp-it-might-cut jacket in 3! That's taking tomboy and sporty outdoorsy to a whole other plane.
And photo #6 is just brilliant!
Love the solid layering and colours of the first outfit a lot, as well!
